When is a bridesmaid not a bridesmaid? - delta_november

07:57 pm - When is a bridesmaid not a bridesmaid?

Previous Entry Share Next Entry

A dear friend of mine has asked me to be a bridal attendant at her wedding.  This is a great honour, and I'm very happy even if my choice of kilt was vetoed.

Her shower is tomorrow.  The whole bridal party is required to be there.  Except for me.  I'm not invited, on account of being insufficiently female.  I'm not sure if I should feel grateful, or put out, or possibly both.

Oh sweet buttery deity of choice yes! Dreadfull things, tourture plain simple tourture.

I really had to love the one where were stayed sitting in the sun doing present rituals while I got sun burn and heat stroke equadistante between a huge air conditioned beatifull livingroom with more then enough space and a swimming pool. I wasn't sure if I wanted to kill or puke.
